What to expect:
first visit:
Please allow 60-90 minutes for your initial visit. You will receive an in-depth consultation and examination with the doctor to review your medical history and current concerns.
Consultation & Health History: You will meet with the doctor and review your medical history and current health issues. The doctor will ask a series of specific questions about the symptoms you’re experiencing as well as your overall health, so he can gain a better perspective of your problems and their underlying causes.
Examination: Following the consult, we will perform a series of tests to determine which tissues may be affected and causing your symptoms. Our findings will help us determine rather your symptoms are musculoskeletal, neurologic, and/or physiological in nature.
X-rays: After the exam, we will take a series of x-rays that are necessary to confirm any spinal pathologies as well as to determine the best treatment for your particular spinal mal-alignment or condition.
Adjustments are only provided on the first day in very acute cases of pain.
Home Instructions: Before leaving the office, you will be given instructions on certain activities or procedures to do or avoid, at home and at work, until you come in for your next visit for your report of findings.
Follow-up Appointment:
We encourage our patients to return for follow-up within 2-3 days to go over the doctor’s findings. We HIGHLY recommend that you bring a close family member or friend with you who shares your health concerns and will provide support as we provide you with treatment options. Once we decide on a treatment option, we will then discuss what a daily office visit will consist of for you.
